Local Blues Rockers Wreckin’ So played to a packed house at the Papertown Motor Inn in Powerview on New Years Eve.
The show was opened by a two piece southern rock outfit known as Double Bourbon. Wreckin’ So then hit the stage and performed two hour-long sets, featuring all their hits, some phenomenal covers, such as Pride & Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan.
The dance floor was packed all night long as people danced and sang along.
It was their first show back in lead singer and rhythm guitarist Brent Alarie played in front of his home town since hiring their new drummer, Ryan Wiebe, following the departure of long-time drummer Clint Chaboyer late last year.
