Second victim of head-on collision succumbs to injuries

The head-on collision on Highway 11, that took the life of Christian Jonker on January 18, has now claimed another victim. The driver of the other vehicle, 65-year-old, eorge Bouvier succumbed to his injuries on February 11.

The other victim of the crash, Christian’s 16-year-old brother, Ty had non-life threatening injuries.

The RCMP investigation determined that a Christian was driving a car travelling west on Highway 11, collided head-on with Bouvier’s truck travelling east.

Poor visibility and icy conditions are believed to be contributing factors in the collision.
