Pine Falls Golf Course gets support from local businesses

The Pine Falls golf course opened for the 2020 season on May 4th.   And considering the restrictions put in place by the government due to the COVID19 virus, the course has been quite busy.

In the summer of 2019 Lorne Robson approached the golf course board with the idea of selling advertising to go on the T-Box yardage markers.  Everyone thought it was a great idea.  To date there are 19 signs on the course thanks to all the surrounding businesses supporting the club.  During the 2019 season we had a team consisting of Lorne and Debbie Robson, Sharon Cyr and Carol Hutchison, who went out and knocked on doors to see who would be interested.

Lorne and Debbie Robson looked after getting the designs for each sign and coordinating with the sign maker.  Every business signed a 3 year contract starting off with the 2020 season and continues to end of the 2022 season.

In a press release written by Debbie Robson, they said they are hopeful that businesses will renew once the time comes.  “We’d like to thank everyone who participated in this project and please support the businesses that advertised,” said Robson. “Come on out and enjoy a round of golf and don’t forget to check out the advertising.”
