Powerview RCMP seize drugs, weapons and cash in two unrelated investigations

On September 9, 2020 at approximately 4:00 pm, Powerview RCMP along with the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence on Dupont Street, in Powerview.

Officers seized crystal methamphetamine, cash, weapons and drug paraphernalia.

Stephanie Daniels, 28 was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, and Failing to Comply x 2.

Krystal Straight, 30, was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Weapons Possession Contrary to an Order and Failing to Comply x 3.

Both were remanded into custody.

On September 12, 2020 at 1:00 am, Powerview RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance on Birch Street in Pine Falls. This led officers to conduct a traffic stop, which resulted in a seizure of cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Kevin Abraham, 38, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Failing to Comply.  He was remanded into custody.

Two females aged, 31 and 38, were arrested and are facing a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. They were released and are scheduled to appear in court on November 4, 2020.

The RCMP remains fully committed to enforcing laws against illicit drugs to their fullest extent as those who produce and traffic illicit drugs destroy lives, homes and communities.
