On August 21, the new RM of Victoria Beach council voted to reinstate Brad Patzer as fire chief for the municipality. In a post he made on Facebook, Patzer said “I would like to thank everyone for the amazing support you gave the Fire Department and myself. This goes to show what a united community can do.”
