The hottest line of the 1977-78 Jets 1.0 team (winners of the Avco Cup that year) Bobby Hull, Ulf Nillson and Anders Hedberg were in Pine Falls on Sunday, fishing on the Winnipeg River.

The trio drove up from Winnipeg after having enjoyed the Jets 2.0 4-2 victory over the Las Vegas Knights on Saturday night.

Local businessman, Steve Kulyk caught up to them on the River and Bobby Hull said he was having the “best fishing day of his life.”

Steve said that Bobby Hull is known to favour the fishing on the Winnipeg River and usually comes out every fall, but for the two Swedes, Hedberg and Nillson, it was a rare treat.
