Young girl’s big heart inspires at the Great Falls Craft Sale
By Cynthia Chevrefils
The Great Falls community Hall held its annual Craft sale on Saturday November 24th with lots of vendors to be had. Once again a little girl by the name of Kaisee Witnicki (affectionately known as Gingy) for her long beautiful red hair stood out.
Last Year Kaisee was selling her crafts to raise money to purchase gifts for kids less fortunate and she managed to donate 22 gifts and as well as donating $1006.00 worth of food to local Christmas hampers in both Lac Du Bonnet and Pine Falls.
This year Kaisee is raffling off a beautiful hope chest and all proceeds are being donated this year to the Fire Fighter Burn Fund to aide children with burns. She will be delivering the funds in July when they hold their Firefighter Burn Fund BBQ ,her final total for the raffle is $1225.00 raised and the draw date for the hope chest was December 4th. The winner of the hope chest was Kari McMullen and the winner of the Tiber River and Thirty one gifts package was Rachelle Lussier Stewart
This year the proceeds from selling her various crafts are going to gifts for kids again but she is going to be spending a little more and getting gifts for teenagers this year. Last year when she delivered her gifts she noticed that a good portion of the gifts were for babies and little kids, so she will have less gift to give but the denomination will be the same.
In her spare time Kaisee loves to play Ringette and has actually missed a game or two so she can sell her stuff at craft sales. She loves to experiment with all sorts of concoctions; slime, tie dye, baking, cooking whatever she can get her hands on. She also loves the outdoors.
Keep up the good work Kaisee you are an inspiration to all and I cant wait to see what your up to for next year.
