James Bezan, Member of Parliament for Selkirk-Interlake-Eastman, said he was pleased by the announcement of $650,000 for Lac Du Bonnet. The funding from the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund will be used for a rural water pipeline.
“I wish to congratulate the community of Lac Du Bonnet on securing funding from the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund to build rural water pipeline. This $1.3-million project will come to fruition faster because of matching funds between the federal and municipal governments.
