Mother’s Day Bazaar, Tea & Bake Sale a big Success

Submitted by Kids Snowflake Bazaar

We had a great Mother’s Day Bazaar! It was attended by 60-70 children and the most common issue they had was buying more than they expected! We are so happy we exceeded their expectations and were able to fulfill all of their shopping needs!
We had a fantastic variety of gifts and it didn’t matter whether you were there first or at the end of the day, there was still some of everything to choose from. The bake sale was a success having less than 5 items left at the end of the day for sale! As well there were fresh cut flowers to purchase in a variety of stunning colors, complete with water pick to ensure survival until delivered to “Mom”. They were georgeous!!
The staff and helpers of St. Georges School were wonderful to work with and we hope their event was a huge success!
Thanks to anyone who came out to support this event. The volunteers enjoyed watching the kids shop, seeing how they thought about things, made their selections and then got them gift wrapped to keep it a surprise. One sweet little boy chose a broach for his Mom but realized he loved it so much himself that he had to keep it for himself!! Oh the are so cute when they are young!
The Mother’s Day Basket was won by a Winnipeg gentleman, Mr. Bill Dalke. We hope the “Mom” of the house was very happy to be extra spoiled on her special day! Congratulations!
Thanks again to everyone for coming out and supporting this event, and a special Thank you to all of our volunteers!
