Musical “Footloose” comes to Powerview School

Ecole Powerview School drama program rehearsing the musical Footloose which they will perform for the public next month.

This year’s high school drama production is FOOTLOOSE! This play has everything, singing, dancing, comedy and drama. Moving from Chicago, newcomer Ren McCormack is in shock when he discovers the small Midwestern town he now calls home has made dancing and rock music illegal. As he struggles to fit in, Ren faces an uphill battle to change things. With the help of his new friend, Willard Hewitt , and defiant teen Ariel Moore, he might loosen up this conservative town. But Ariel’s influential father, Reverend Shaw Moore, stands in the way.

This year’s play consist of 24 students including 9 graduates of 2020. The play will take place at Ecole Powerview School on November 26, 27, 28, and the 29th. Doors open at 5:30 and the play will begin at 6:00. The tickets could be purchased at the office for $10.00. Come out and support our up and coming actors.
