Pine Falls Christmas Hamper Drive Exceeds Expectations

Volunteers gathered today to pick up, sort, pack and deliver 95 hampers for the The Pine Falls and District Christmas Hamper Fund.

Once again, the local fire department and the RCMP delivered the hampers.

According to Bev Dubé, community support exceeded expectations. “We asked and our community delivered in a big way,” she said. “We set a lofty goal of 200 boxes of cereal – we received over 300, along with fresh vegetables, boxes of oranges and over 100 jars of jam.”

Bev was pleased with the results of this year’s drive. “It has been an outstanding year for us,” she said.
