What’s Happening at Library Allard!

In house library fun
Join us at the library to help us decorate our Christmas tree! The tree is made of felt for our younger patrons little fingers and is bound to keep your little ones entertained while you look at books or simply just want to hang out and use our Wi-Fi and computers! It will be set up until the end of December.

We hope you plan to come spend some time at the library during the holidays!

9th Annual Crèche Display at Library Allard
The library would like to invite you to attend the 9th Annual Crèches Festival from Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 to Saturday, January 5th, 2019. Come by the library during regular business hours to see these beautiful creations. Les Amis de la Crèche offers tours of the Crèche display. Call Jen at 204-367-8443 to book yours.

Crocheting at Library Allard
Every Thursday, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm a group of ladies get together and crochet/knit. This opportunity is open to everyone. They get together at the library over the fall and winter months. If you would like to participate drop in!

Library Excitement in January
Join us in January, as we search for words with Mo Williems friends, Elephant, Piggie and Pigeon. In the library, you will find a large word search posted up on the side of a library book shelf. Along the side of the word search they’ll be a dry erase marker. How many words you can find?

The library’s special display theme for November in the adult section is featuring Movember! In December, we’re featuring a Christmas display. The children’s display in November is Graphic Novels and in December, you will find Christmas books displayed on the front counter by the circulation desk.
