Back in August of last year, a fire destroyed Wynne’s Place, which housed the only store in the community of Bissett. The business also included a restaurant and coffee shop.
Now it looks like the rebuilt store and restaurant will be reopening very soon. The building is complete, the shelving is installed and it’s just the finishing touches that are required.
While residents were waiting for the new spot to be rebuilt, the Wynnes set up a temporary store in the gas station and stocked the shelves with essentials, so that residents wouldn’t have to drive to Pine Falls for the daily necessities.
Marlene Wynne, who runs the store said that while there’s no official opening date, she’s hoping to bring groceries in next week and have it open within the next two weeks.
